Yolanda is truly a healer! Her hands are magic.  I booked an overall “reset” session and loved her combination of massage and acupuncture. She knew all the spots to target and I left my appointment feeling so refreshed, full of energy, and totally relaxed. Though I have reviewed Yolanda in the past, I thought that it deserved repeating several years later. She has magical hands and is INCREDIBLE at what she does! I have severe back pain from untreated sports injuries over the years - I’ve had 2 back surgeries but have permanent nerve damage on my spine. After a year of physical therapy to get to a good place when just walking, I’ve had times when the pain is unmanageable & I cannot walk or stand without extreme pain. After every session with Yolanda at Best Acupuncture NYC, I not only have immediate improvement and relief from whatever is going on in that moment, but her specialized treatment of the permanent nerve pain also improves. I thought after the surgeries I had to learn how to live with the pain, and at times felt hopeless because it’s unbearable. I tried everything. Yolanda is a hidden gem. I’ve been seeing her for 6 months now and she has helped with so many different issues. She combines massage therapy with accupuncture which makes it a much more enjoyable experience. Yolanda is the REAL DEAL! Her knowledge and skill of her craft is beyond measure. She was able to get rid my sciatic nerve pain within 30 minutes!! Apparently I had knots within my paracardian meridians which deal with the heart and it's emotional connection so she counseled me on how to approach the issue wholistically. The session was finished with a powerful shiatsu massage and aromatherapy. To say she should be charging way more is a understatement. Thank heavens people like her exist. Yolanda is a highly skilled acupuncturist.  I have had many acupuncture treatments over the years and Yolanda is up there as one of the best for me.
