Generally, the assessment helps us to prepare your customized treatment plan.
During the assessment, we will ask you a few questions for better preparation of your treatment plan.
Usually, the questions we ask are all related to your complaint. For instance:
- The medical history of your condition
- How long have you had this problem?
- What are your likes/dislikes?
- Are you allergic?
- How good your diet is?
- Your lifestyle
- Any further medications that you were taking to treat your condition.
Moreover, we will examine your tongue, take a series of pulses, and listen to the sound and timbre of your voice.
Based on the information you provided, we will further evaluate it to understand the flow of energy also called Qi and the internal function of your organs.
With over 12 years of experience in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we use acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, bodywork, diet, and exercise therapy to effectively treat and manage your condition.
Besides, We will also work with you to prepare your customized treatment plan to accomplish better health and restore a more balanced lifestyle.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is one of the most prominent components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) originated in China about 5000 years ago. It is one of the oldest alternative medicine treatments that has been widely used around the world by millions of practitioners to treat various conditions such as chronic pain, headache, and fertility.
Acupuncture is backed by science hence it is safe and effective! There is undeniable scientific evidence, that there is more than one modality to achieve health and wellness.
There is an entire realm of human health. Particularly, once we start expanding our boundaries to include nutrition, movement, meditation, yoga, acupuncture, essential oils, and when patients integrate one or more of practices into their day to day routine, changes also take on a sense of self-empowerment and I am the vessel that helps facilitate such change.
In conclusion, acupuncture promotes balance, self-awareness, and mindfulness which keeps our patients away from chronic illness, stress, anxiety, tension, and or pain.
Our Approach
Our approach is considered Individualized, Personalized Medicine!
Modern medicine treats signs and symptoms with one, or multiple medications.
We aim to use medicine to prevent disease and promote life.
To empower our patients to take care of their health even after our session is over.
Our practitioners are trained by 88th generation Daoist Priest, Dr. Jeffrey Yuen and through his oral traditions, the thought is that all disease is rooted in the Spirit.
Therefore the patients need to explore the root cause. In our experience stress, unmanaged creates a chain reaction of internal complications.
It limits us when left unchecked. Rooted in the core of our Central nervous system there may be trauma that affects our fight or flight response in the cortex, subsequently, it affects our immune system.
Patients may create a new norm where oftentimes the underlying cause is held on a subconscious level. Stress appears as trouble sleeping, anxiety, mood disorders, pain, gut discomforts.
“You’re here for the experience!”
Our Goal
Our goal is that the patient learns from their own body.
During our session, they will take this time to bring loving attention to their body by letting go, by allowing their breath to oxygenate their tissue and release tension!
It is important to change the way we look at things, therefore there is a dialogue that takes place in this sacred space, that we begin thinking that the body is not a problem to fix.
When this conscious shift occurs, and you feel that you can move through pain, tension, and anxiety there is a sense of peace.
This dance becomes proof & trust between the patient and the practitioner furthermore reinforcing that healing is possible!
“Ego leaves you to see the truth”
Patients often experience chronic issues caused by their lifestyles. Many times there is no actual solution but with these mindful changes, chronic conditions can be treated.
The epidemic of the 21st Century, stressors such as….. The boss, the wife, the kids keep us out of homeostasis; and what we want to do is bring the body into parasympathetic mode, AKA “chill mode”.
